4 months!

Our girl is turning into a person more and more every day. She is giggling, rolling over, exploring toys and all of her surroundings. She continues to love bath time and we have discovered she loves to have her hair brushed as well as look at herself in the mirror. She quickly realizes when Mom and Dad have left the room and makes sure we know she is still there by cooing and expelling all different types of sounds. When she's not hanging with Mom and Dad, she loves spending time with Gammy and Papa JJ.

A Week of Firsts

 With Blake and Gammy going back to work, Camden spent her first week with Dorinda, our family friend, who will be watching her during the school year. We couldn't be more thrilled that Dorinda will be caring for our precious baby girl. The first day I picked Cam up, Dorinda said she "took notes" so she would become acclamated to Camden's schedule. I kindly looked at Dorinda and said "I'm glad you took notes, but I hate to tell you that she really doesn't have a schedule. I was hoping you would help establish that." I believe her response was "oh."  :)

Camden had her first sleepover without mom and dad. She stayed at Gammy and Papa JJ's house friday night. From all indications, she wasn't a bit upset leaving mommy and daddy. She slept through the night and enjoyed lots of cuddle time with her grandparents.

Pool Fun!

The Iles Family travelled to Wichita for Camden's cousin (and our niece's) 6th Birthday. Camden was enthralled watching all the kids over for Aubrey's party. She enjoyed laying on the floor talking to Nana, Aubrey and Zane. She even had the privilege of sleeping in her new baby cousin's crib before he did!

Blake and I took Camden to the indoor pool at our gym for the first time this weekend. Since she absolutely loves bath time, we figured she would probably enjoy a "larger" scale bath! She didn't offer any complaints while in the water, however, she would tense up as the water drew closer and closer to her neck area. Can't imagine why! Stay tuned for the video coming this week (hopefully).

Camden rolled over!

While at work on Friday July 29th, I received the wonderful news that my little girl had achieved a new milestone. She rolled over!!!!! Not once, not twice, but 4 times from front to back. Since I wasn't able to see it in person until later, Daddy caught it on video.

Great Aunt Kay and Uncle Dan came in town and stopped by to see Camden. This time I remembered to take pictures!

Trip to Marysville

The weekend of July 23rd, Blake, Camden and I travelled to Marysville, Kansas to Blake's hometown. Camden met Joe and Michelle Whitesell and their daughter Hannah before spending the rest of the day with Grandm Iles, Nana, Papa, and Great Grandpa and Grandma Sohl. Blake and I had a night out for his class reunion while Cam spent quality time with Nana, Papa and Scout.

Special Visitors

 On July 11th, Camden had some very special visitors. One of Gammy's best friends, Marlys Kimes, came to visit and meet little miss Cam. I failed to get pictures (again) but Camden sure welcomed Marlys to Kansas by peeing all over her! They did however get some quality "dry" time snuggling, playing and smiling together. It was such a treat to see Marlys and we sure hope to see her again soon!
Also there to greet Camden were Dave and Pat Hudson. For those of you who don't know the Hudson's, their son Mark and I grew up together like brother and sister. Pat always called me "her girl", so it was exciting to see Pat meet "her newest girl!" We had such a wonderful time of fellowship at Oklahoma Joe's with the Wyrowski's, Hudsons, Hawkins, Marlys, Papa JJ and Gammy.
